WhatsApp made a statement on Facebook, that a total of 1.4 billion voice and video calls were made from users all over the world on New Years Eve. WhatsApp calls have increased by more than 50% compared to the same day last year.
It is heartwarming to see many people putting in effort to stay connected with their loved ones. Through unprecedented times, technology has been helpful to everyone especially in maintaining relations.
